About

Natalie Hardy is an Australian Contemporary Dancer currently based in Narrm/Melbourne. Natalie is interested in exploring how authentic movement and improvisation influences creative freedom and collaboration. Natalie uses dance as a practice to inform their innovation and resilience with exploring how movement can unlock juxtaposing internal and external mental states. When performing, Natalie aims to use this concept of contrasting awarenesses to interact with audiences in a unique, active, and collaborative way to showcase the benefits of dance.

Natalie is currently completing their third and final year of a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Dance) at The Victorian College of the Arts, The University of Melbourne. They will graduate late November 2025. They have also been accepted into the UC STEP program for a Secondary Teaching Masters degree from 2026-2027 at the University of Canberra. â€‹â€‹

I acknowledge the traditional custodians of the land in which I work, learn, dance, and play, the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung and the Bunurong Boon Wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nation. I would also like to acknowledge that I was raised on Ngunnawal country, and pay my respects to their elders, past, present, and future.
